Anyone have any info on this? I've got a line on one. 14ft needs a little wood work.

I've search and found that oddly this one is rated for a 50hp outboard.

The transom look like a 15"er, if you run a 50hp motor I add a splashwell to it.

Jim, nothing physically besides the wood looks like it wasn't sealed. The Max hp I'll consider adding is 40 just depends on what I find on craigslist at the time. Honestly I'm planning on modding the boat. To seat three or four. I might remove the long cap on the bow.and shorten it or make it storage and or a short deck.

Very interesting boat. I can't add any insight, never heard of one.

Is that a wood decking covering the bow? Is that original or does it look added on? Then the seat boxes look to be wood also construction.

I would be interested to see what you find once you start tearing into this.

Everything looks to be original. Doesn't look like the wood was sealed. I'm set to pick up this one next weekend.

Well I've been searching and found one pic. Looks like the next size up had a windshield. Anyone know if I would be able to find a windshield to fit mine?

Very nice !!

windshields can be found on the interweb.
you will also need the stainless clips and end brackets.
If you can find an old beat up one on C/L, you could cut it
to fit your boat and use that as a pattern to bend you a new one.
BUT- that process takes some skill and experience in working with
plastics.

in the long run, it may be cheaper to buy a custom made one for your boat.

Good Luck !! looking forward to seeing it when you get it all cleaned up.

Look through the gallery of this company:

You would have to contact them for a price. From my experience, they run in the $400 range.

Back then most boat manufacturers got windshields from a supplier. My StarCraft Falcon's windshield was made by Taylor. Take some measurement and watch Ebay and CL for one that look period correct.

Thanks Ick. I didn't think it would be that simple. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks again Johnny! I just started a build thread. Found a can of black spray paint for the trailer. I'm already digging into it.
