I am having a tiller console made for the new boat and I would like to have part of it wrapped with paracord. A coxcomb wrap type thing. Does anyone know where I might be able to have that done?

I am willing to travel a couple hours from the space center if needed.Tampa, St. Augustine, Ft. Pierce

It's not that hard to do yourself. You can google how to make the bracelets and basically make a really big one. I had a friend of mine show me how to do it a while back. You can order the paracord in different sizes lengths and colors off of ebay or you can get some of them at Walmart here in SC.

Whatever paracord you choose to work with, check the UV rating.
Some of that cheap stuff from China is terrible. It would be a crying
shame for you to spend hours and hours on your project only to have it
fall apart in one or two seasons from the UV destruction.

WAY back in my early Navy days, I watched these sailors (Boatswain Mates)
wrap about 5 feet of the H.Q. flag pole with all kinds of wraps and knots....
awesome knot skills. The base has long been closed but I hope that somewhere
someone saved this small piece of Nautical Art.

Do the Google on Navy knots, Rope tying, Seaman Knots and Wraps, yada yada yada.

I know that "para-cord" is really the bomb these days. But, in a sailors heart,
nothing beats the standard white cotton cord woven into an ornamental piece of art
then clear coated with urethane.

once you get started into a pattern, it is very easy to wrap a coffee cup or pilots helm.
(not that I can do it LOL LOL, I have just seen it done by professionals)
