1848 Crawdad

Still looking for an aluminum skiff and have pretty much settled on the Alweld Crawdad. I'm trying to decide between a 1748 and an 1848. I fish several restricted horspower lakes as well as the Allegheny and Kiski Rivers so i'll probably also bite the bullet and buy a 20 hp 4 stroke to power it.

I think the longer skinny boat will perform better with a 20 hp than a short wide one like a 1660. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Todd
