So I no someone has done one or a dozen. What did everyone use for the cup part? I could use pvc but thinking a nice plastic cup hold that was solid and just dropped into the hole flush would look the best. Think I seen a cheap plastic one that would work at stores in the past. It was big on top and smaller in the bottom for differnet sized drink containers. It would also work great so you could reach inside to fish out baits when used for a catch all hole. And would hold my propane heater this winter. As it has a base made for cup holders.
Yea iv already got the stainless swivel type on my seats.

I know they are out there and must be pretty inexpensive.
This is what came with my bass boat. There is a nipple on
the bottom to connect a drain hose to so the water can drain
onto the floor and not into your foamed cavity (if you have that).
I guess just google it - the name label is off these so I can't help there.

Lol at myself I didn't goggle it because I didn't figure they had one with a lip I could just drop in. But the First pic on the page was a alluinum cup for a poker table with a lip for 3 bucks or so. Still don't want to order one. But I might have to as it would work and look so nice.

Insanity...please post the LINK for the cup holder that you found. Even cheapskate me won't build something if I can buy it for $3.00 I'll need a couple of them for my new hull.

thanks richg99

Wally world has 'em in their "marine" section, may not have the drain hole, but have the lip

Thats what I was hoping for but i hadn't noticed. But then again wasn't looking then either. Thanks.
I sure hope I can borrow a hole saw from someone at work so I don't have to cut it with a jig saw.

Or you can buy them individually for a little higher price. As for the stainless models, I like this one better as it's a "large" holder at 3.5" but it's got the reduced dia section at the bottom of the holder for holding smaller drinks as well. Of course the drain hole is also useful but I could drill a hole in them if need be. LoL https://www.amazon.com/Amarine-made-Stainless-Holder-Marine-Camper/dp/B0097M90M6

West Marine and Bass Pro stock them here locally, I haven't checked but imagine Academy Sports and Cabelas do too. Drop in cupholders are actually pretty common in the stores that stock marine stuff, both in plastic and SS.
