So quick question, I just installed a hatch in a bench seat and removed about half the foam in it. I know I have to replace that foam somewhere which I did under the floor inbetween the ribs. When I ripped the foam out I tried to keep the bigger pieces incase I needed some more, question is can I take these pieces of foam and super glue them up under the deck or somewhere else and will this count toward the coast guard rule for needed foam?

The Coast Guard rule is just for boat manufactures.
I would add as much foam as needed to keep your boat with all the weight you have added afloat.
I think super glue will melt the foam. There are adhesives made for gluing foam, I have bought caulk gun sized tubes at Menards.

You are correct in that most versions of super glue will melt foam.

There is a "foam safe" version sold by hobby stores in little, tiny, tiny, expensive tubes. Not good for big projects due to cost. Also, super glue tends to be brittle. The foam would, most likely, break off easily.

As suggested, a big tube of the proper mastic will go a long way.

Well maybe not super glue but some 5200 maybe or will that melt the foam to?
