sealing keel leak

how would you guys suggest I go about sealing a leak in my keel? it's an old valco aluminum boat. after my first time oit I noticed it leaked a bit so I filled with water and noticed the keel leaks quite a bit. bottom is painted with who knows what from the previous owner as well as the inside. Your probably going to get 10 different answers and all of them will work but here's my suggestion FWIW . Strip the paint off both sides, rebuck all the rivets in that area, scuff the surface on both sides and apply Amazing Goop Coat It to both sides exactly as the directions call for and you should be set and then if you prefer you can scuff the goop and repaint over it. All this depends on you having free access to the inside as well as the outside area. Theres several threads about how to rebuck rivets and Smackdaddy helped me with how to make my own bucking tools. I suggest checking his thread out and on mine page 2 is where I rebucked mine with my wifes help as well. Hope this helps some
