Replacing Rivets on 14' Alumacraft

Just picked up a 1994 14' Alumacraft to take the kids (4 & 7) fishing. After finding this site it looks like I have a new money pit
I just sold my Jeep and enjoy modifying my toys so this site has me very excited.

One of my first projects will be removing the seats and replacing existing and adding additional foam along with modifying the center bench live well. This brings me to my first question... can I use closed rivets below the water line or do I need to replace with solid rivets? I have searched and read previous post but ended up more confused.

Yes you can use All aluminum closed end blind rivets.
Best to seal the rivets with a dab of 3M5200.
