Hi hope you can help, I have a smoker craft 14 foot voyager need to find out the name of the gray calk thats used on the bottom of the boat and the seams thanks :?:

I think you meant 3M5300.

Where exactly is this caulk? What is it sealing up?

5300 is really permanent, 3M4200 may be an alternative if you are ever going to take it apart.

3M 5200 and 4200 are available in both slow cure and fast cure.

Another good option for below the waterline use is LifeCaulk by BoatLife company. I actually prefer it to 3M 5200 as the tube last a lot longer and it is a few bucks cheaper - but works just as tenacious!

It too is a polyurethane-based adhesive sealant.

But I've only seen it in black, white and teak colors, while I've only seen 520 in black, white and mahogany.

Hi thanks to you all for the feed back, I got an awnser from the company, what they use is 3m scotch metal seal 2084 thanks again
