I picked up a good used push pole to use on the flats here is Central Florida but now I am looking for a way to mount holders to my tinny.

Here is a picture of the gunnel area. I am thinking that I may need to install several blocks running down the inside to mount the holders to. Any suggestions or pics of yours would be a bonus.

It seems that the gunwale design on those boats doesn't give you many options without fabbing and drilling. I was thinking some sort of clamp - on base and mount like this...

Or what about having 2 small pieces of aluminum angle welded to the top of the gunwale to create a flat spot to mount a standard push pole holder. One near the bow, and one near the stern. Maybe one midships also. The you could use something like this...

That is actually used on a gps rover rod. You could probably get those from a survey supply company, but they would be stupid expensive. Maybe you could have something similar made somewhere?
