bench seat repurposed

Howdy,
I'm working through installing seats and here is my first iteration. maybe this will be useful to others. eventually i want to be able to put plastic tackle boxes in the pedestal. I have to work through a securing mechanism to keep them in place while underway. I haven't installed them to see how they work. I cut these out of one of the three bench seats i removed from my boat. I'm using a dining room chair seat height to get how high i wanted my seats to end up. Thanks,

A strap similar to the one that holds the top of the seat down would work I'd think. Another guy on here has three tackle boxes he made a surround for on here but I can't remember his name. Each box held 5 or 6 of the plastic tackle trays and they just pull out like drawers. His thread was updated in the last few days I'm pretty sure.
