The pictures tell the story, but I added a piece of ~3" by 6" starboard (super plastic) for mounting a fishfinder transducer, so I don't have to drill other holes in the transom ... in case I need to move the transducer around.
May not be the prettiest installation I've ever done
but it is simple, works ... and will keep the hull free from water ingestion (rivets were gooped well on the inside too).
