Where to put extra battery in G3 1652

I just bought a 04 G3 1652 and was wonder where the best place to put an extra battery would be.I was thinking of cutting a hole next to the one that's already under the front deck.i was also wondering what size cables I should run to join the battery's. Any help would be appreciated.

I enlarged the front opening a little and built level mounts for both my cranker and TM battery up front on either side on my Weld-Craft 1652. What a difference. I don't even have to trim the engine forward to jump up on plane. My 10Gal fuel tank is in the very back. Moving the batteries forward balanced everything out beautifully.
