3/16" Brazier Head rivet tool to set solid rivets $10 or $13

Post by DaleH » 11 Jul 2016, 15:41

I know when I went looking for a tool head to fit an air hammer, I had to look high and low before I found one at a reasonable price - that was sold individually.

For the price of this one, even if someone just wanted to tighten up a few rivets here and these by hand, I'd think they could use a hammer against this tool (wear safety glasses please ... ) as a helper held the head of a heavier hammer or sledge up against the expanded (or to be expanded) rivet tail.

Ballpark ~ $10 + isn't a bad price at all! I recall I paid about $20 for the one I used in my Haba Freight rivet air hammer.

FYI, got some PMs about rivet tools for use with air hammers and this is the $20 bucking tool I used to install my new transom pieces. I'm sure there are other sources too ... besides just using a suitable block of steel, LOL!
