Another newbie to deal with..... At least I am an enthusiastic newbie whose life has been blessed with interaction with many aluminum boats.
My current need is help with the identification of the manufacturer of this new to me little tinnie (or is it tinny?) The little one has no nameplate info anywhere, and the DNR registration history shows "unknown" manufacturer. Anyway I have spent hours on the internet looking at hundreds of pictures, and have only seen one identical boat. It was in an old classified and only info readable on its nameplate said made in Canada.
If there is anyone in this community that could help me get started on this project, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have some renovation to do and would like anything I do to it to be similar to how it was originally manufactured.
Thanks in advance for any information that you are able to provide!
UPDATE!!!!
For any of those interested, I have finally determined that my boat is a Rich Line Sportsman, made sometime between 1965 and 1970. My thanks to a gentleman named George Schneider who has set up a Vintage Rich Line group On Yahoo and recently a Facebook page. A lot of information there on a very interesting history of Rich Line.
Also thanks to anyone here who may have tried to help me with an ID.
