I am going to put a live well in my boat .If I cut the a hole in the middle seat to fit a live well do I have to replace the foam lost by not cutting it ? Need to know before I make this mistake .

Someone here will tell you no...but they're the ones whose boats will be snuggled up next to yours on the bottom should something go wrong in the future.

Like said above if you take out a cube put back a cube. Closed cell spray expanding foam like you fill holes and cracks with. When you cut your seat you will see lots of voids to fill with the foam. The whole seat is not filled with foam on any boat Ive ever cut into. I can usually put back twice as much as I take out and fill up all the cracks. Less noise and more rigid. I filled one boat to make the seat tops more firm to mount seats on. Drill and fill.
