I bought this boat today at a u pull it when I was help some friends with a transfer case and offered the owner 50 bucks due to age and loss of rivets and got it for 60. I bought it out of impulse and I figured I would get some second opinions someone pulled a bunch of rivets trying to get the seats out and bent a piece of metal on the transom probably will just row it because I don't feel like registering and I got no papers for it and I can't find and kind of serial number. Any help is appreciated.

partial list of things to git-r-done.

get it water tight
get your safety items (things that will save your life if it capsizes).
bilge pump connected to a motorcycle battery
proper length oars for that size boat
if this is your first row boat, take it out and just row around a bit
to get the hang of how your body fits the boat while rowing
get a pole - go fishing - be safe - have fun

Update I drilled out the rest of the rivets for the seats I believe im going to run planks or something else and when I was pressure washing it a 7 up cap shot out from under one of the ribs. I believe the cap is from the 50s it has the cork under the cap. Can any old timers confirm this?
