getting on in a few weeks has a outboard ect I am aslo getting a 16footer whick i'll put the outboard on I have debated and I may keep the smaller boat and just run trolling motor on it put a semi height deck on it cut the middle bench down to make a small walking platform seen many photos of guys putting decks the height of the boat I am not that balanced so I am thnking of buiding a small front deck about 2ft maybe 3 and then a much lower deck with a old semi truck seat in it that swivels no live well ect i'll put the batteries in the cut outs on the middle bench ect I hope to get the boat home soon and start working on it that little 12footer might be ok for just me not intended for 2 people at all I'm sure it'll be tippy with a 400lb guy in it lol

I've always wanted a 1242... I think that would be a fun little boat.. I fish alone 99.9% of the time.. I'd make it all deck except for a cockpit to sit and drive...

Actually, I'm about to redo the deck on my 1542 and that's about how it will be.. I'm gonna bring the deck almost or a little past the halfway point... I want 2 rod boxes... And after fishing on a big triton bass boat's front deck, I want the space up there.. I fish all day, daylight to dark, so I want comfort..

I work 3rd shift now so i'll be night time fishing so I don't want to trip up on the deck and go head first in the water so I'm not sure how i'll go yet but it'll be fun regardless
