im going to start my winter restoration of my lund soon. I am looking at the Cabelas tuff Coat. Anyone have experience with this at all or have any other recommendations?

sorry, bare hull. I want to do something nonslip that isn't a difficult application

I will be following. I need to paint an aluminum floor that'll be used for duck hunting so non skid is something I need too.

Have you looked for the medium that you mix with paint? It's like a sand that goes with epoxy paints or something.. I think I've seen somewhere.

I am a big fan of the Rust-Oleum products.
the new line of Top Side paints are really good.

This is how I added non-slip grit to the floor paint in my Crestliner.
I added half the amount suggested to a pint of Rust-Oleum Aluminum Primer
and primed the desired area that had been masked off.
The next day, I masked off the desired area with masking tape
and brushed on the TopSide paint (with 1/2 the amount of grit).
With each additional layer of coating, I raised the masking tape
(if you use it) up 1/4". This will alleviate the harsh line between
the smooth and rough surfaces. I would suggest adding only
half the suggested amount of grit into a small plastic pot of paint
and apply two or three coats 24 hours apart. Instead of one coat with a lot of grit.
too much grit will make application difficult - so test first.
There are several makers of grit and paint - - - this is your choice due to availability
and any past experience you may have had with previous painting projects.
If you prefer to use latex base paints, read the instructions prior to purchase.

READ, UNDERSTAND and FOLLOW the instructions on the label
of any and all products you may use. Observe all safety precautions.

I used this last year on my Starcraft. It hasn't peeled or scratched up yet.

RC Whitesides - - - - welcome aboard !!

we don't like to endorse products that are not suitable
for boats that are used often and exposed to the elements.

the product you mention is not for outdoor use it says so right on the instruction label:

"Durabak Original is a one-part, moisture cured, polyurethane
protective coating with unlimited applications.
This version of Durabak is recommended for indoor use or for use not in direct sunlight".

I personally would be very hesitant to use this product on a boat.
