Mixed in with the aluminum framing I'm going to run two divider walls out of 1/2" wood material. Does this plywood need to be Marine grade? And what waterproofing products do you recommend? Again, thanks in advance! Casey

Also I have intentions of doing a build thread for this project. But I have to figure out how to get pics on here first!

yes, photos are always good.

the questions I have are:
where are the walls? what size are they?
do they touch the bottom of the hull?
could you use aluminum sheet screwed into place vs plywood?

there is no need to use marine grade plywood if you can find
a good exterior grade A/B or B/C plywood and preserve it well.
Use the same sealing procedure as you would the transom panel.

if any of the edges actually get submerged in bilge water,
I would epoxy those edges that could soak up water.

just a start.

Hey Johnny. I'm not sure if this will post the link, but if you were to watch this video, the "wall" I'm going with is in the video. 1/2" plywood inside an aluminum channel.

They are structural in his build and will be in mine as well. I'm doing mine a bit different but will still be the main supports in the center of the deck
