Hey Guys, I just bought a Weldbilt 1548. I have a Mercury 25 2 stroke tiller on the back. Can any of you offer performance tips for this boat and motor combination? Have any of you had experiences with it that would help me out?

Is the motors anti ventilation plate even with the bottom of the hull? You could get a new prop. You would need a tachometer to know if you need to go up or down on pitch.

Google Tiny Tach. It has a wire that wraps around the spark plug wire.
