What's up, guys?

I'm interested in installing some sort of anchor pulley/lock system to make it easier for my lady friend to raise and lower the anchor from the bow.

I've looked at the Scotty anchor lock, but I'm not sure it's sturdy enough to handle a ~10 lb mushroom anchor.

I've also looked at the Atwood system, but I'm not sure where I'd install in (don't want to remove the bow handle).

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Take a look at my build (below my signature). I used anchor mates and my wife runs the bow anchor with no problem.

Thanks for the tips, guys.

The systems those guys mentioned will require drilling holes in the boat, we all know that is a NO-NO.
I suggest getting a new wife, maybe younger with bigger muscles.

Sounds like a pretty expensive fix...
