Don't know how to post pictures, will study on it so can't post pics of the drift boat rod trays we use. They are plain-jane open top but keep fly rods and spinning rods secure. If you look at Kofflerboats web page, Rocky Mtn Trout Boats, there are some good photos.

Having a 16ft modvee jet re-furbed and was looking for a way to add these without a lot of fabrication and welding.

borelrises idea is pretty straight forward - could be done even easier cutting a piece of vinyl downspout in half if you're just looking for a tray to keep rods neat & from shifting around when under power. Throw a little bungee in there to keep them from bouncing out when trailered or in rough water.
