I took off an old Motorguide trolling motor. The screws were long Stainless Steel. I plan to use the same screws to secur the new motor. Should I put any type of liquid or glue on the screws prior to re-installing them? Thanks....

I like a bit of blue loctite for things like this. Helps keep screws/bolts from backing out, but still removable when needed.
