Hello all.

I've enjoyed reading over the forum for the last couple of days. I bought a tin boat a few days ago and need help identifying it. I can't find any ID marks on the boat.

It is 13' 9" long and 55" wide beam (44" at the transom).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Kinda, looks like my old 1963 Applebee.(applebe?)

except mine has (had) 2 braces at each (3) benches. I added decks.
mine also had the support up front that was inline with the very front bench.
mine does have the metal cover at the transom. and at the corners.
but the metal at the bow is smaller on mine

Mine had the handles at the rear same as yours.

Question did you put that wood on the outside of the transom.

Reason I'm asking, standing behind rear of boat. Lower right corner WAS the info plate for my boat.

I also wouldn't recommend securing boat to trailer through those handles. Just wrap straps around rear of boat. :)

Thanks. At the moment the wood on the transom has been removed. I'll be replacing it later today. I was hopeful I'd find some type of identifier behind it, but wasn't quite so lucky. I'm thinking it will be best to add a treated board to the Inside on the transom instead of the outside like it showed in the pics. What do you think?
