Hey All! Weather is warming up and looking to get our 14' Springbok fishing boat ready for summer. I leave the boat in the water tied to the dock at our cottage ice out till ice in. I'd like to get a cover made to put on while we are away during the week to keep leaves and rain out. It has a carpeted flat bottom in it and carpeted benches. Would like to protect it better. I was given a cover off a 16' aluminum boat with 3 poles with pole vents. It has snaps on the perimeter. Since the cover is too big, I was thinking of getting the cover made to fit my boat. Question is....should I have the cover made using snaps or a ratchet type system? Boat currently has no snaps on it.

Thanks for the experience and advice!
