Already posted one pic on refurbish thread.
Scrap wood, four screws, and a little paint. Only one screw at the top. Tried to come up with something using existing seat straps, but nothing clicked.

Nice! Professional looking.

I have had wood brackets fail on me though - cracking along the grain of the wood, but this is from years of hard pounding in fresh and salt. If I had to do those over (another project!) I would do it using some kind of plastic or man made material like hardboard or an old chopping board.

For vertical rod holders I have used the good old PVC piping held in by the electrical conduit clamps. Works just fine. Not sure how to turn this picture right side up though!
