First time poster, been browsing and stealing ideas for awhile.
I bought a 1965 MirroCraft E Series 12 footer last month and have been trying to get it ready (on the cheap) for the trout opener this upcoming weekend.
Came with a 5 HP Mariner (clean/good runner) and trailer (trailer needs some work...) so i'll be throwing it in the back of the truck for now.
The idea was to keep this thing fairly light, easy to move around in, and have a good place for rod holders without drilling any holes in my "new" to me boat.
When I has trying to figure out the year to register, I searched all over the internet and have yet to find one that looks like this with these decals. According to MirroCraft, its a 1965 E Series but they also made a Northport Series (explains the decals) but couldn't give me a reason for this as they weren't MirroCraft Northport until 1982....Head scratcher...

Cool. That goes from a nearly 0 dead rise to a sharp v in a hurry. My 14' is a bit more gradual, which would make sense.
Yea was thinking about doing a floor with a removable pedestal in the middle but I'm going to need some more time to figure out the floor. Also want to see how it fishes before I go too crazy with it.
