I placed a metal rod on the top fin to show the height. It’s about 1” lower then the bottom of the boat.

Looks ok to me. You can try playing with it by raising it up. I have done this by using temporary shims under the clamp. 1/2” at a time until it cavitates while turning then drop back 1/2”. You might pick up a tiny bit of speed up top, couple mph if that’s important to you.

Don't give that straight edge as much thought as a good ole water test. Every hull is a bit different. Might be optimum at that height, might not.
