Recently picked up a 16’ open Jon boat with livewell. Livewell has 2 “drain plugs” in bottom of hull. Problem is the previous owner JB Welded the plugs in. So anyone have any suggestions to fix this issue. It’s my first boat and I’m wanting to deck it out and set it up for fishing, but want to get the live well done before I move on to the deck. Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance
 
Threaded plugs? Or rubber? Maybe try to heat it up with a heat gun and work it with a pair of pliers applying firm but reasonable pressure.

Yes, it has 2 of the screw in plugs on the bottom of the livewell. And the previous owner put JB Weld on the threads and screwed the plugs in.
