Rich, I've been known to use heavy casting spoons like that on Watts Bar Lake for stripers and white bass. Mostly for vertical jigging, but it sure is fun. Funny how the same spoons I use in the surf down here for bluefish, and snook work just as well 800 miles away in freshwater.

My parents live in Ten Mile on the lake. I actually live in South Florida, but have been spending my summers at that house since I was in diapers. I know the lake between Blue Springs and the dam better than a lot of locals.

Rich, I'm planning on being up there sometime late summer/early fall. My 23' Mako is up there and I need to bring it back down here. I'll give you a shout when I get a better idea of when I'll be up.
