I have a project that may need a rivet or two bucked to tighten them up. I've heard some guys use an air hammer and a chunk of steel on the back side to do this. Any reason why I can't use a palm nailer (essentially a small air hammer, it is NOT a regular nailgun,) in place of the standard air hammer? I've seen videos on youtube where one guy put the air hammer on the head and the other video had the guy placing the air hammer on the shank of the rivet. Which is correct. I believe in aircraft production they hit the head of the rivet with the rivet setter (basically an air hammer).
