Hey folks. I got a 15 HP Yamaha with a Yamaha fuel tank.

The last two times out o had a hell of a time priming the bulb and it wouldn’t really get hard. After the day fishing I noticed that that gas tank was getting sucked in of caving in on itself.

I haven’t changed anything. The screw is open to allow breathing. Could it be the bulb? Or the mechanism inside the tank?

I really wanna avoid spending $120 on a new tank and line.

Try again with the tank's fuel FILL open ... if it doesn't happen, although your tank vent might be open, it is likely clogged.

Will try tonight. So prime the bulb with the gas cap off? If it still doesn’t prime than it’s the bulb or fuel line ?

I'm still guessing your tank screw vent might be open, but is clogged. Look around at it, you should see a pin hole feature that is actually the vent port.
