After much deliberation, I'm going with frp over xps foam in the 1542 A.craft. I'm also sticking with a particular indoor/outdoor carpet I used in my other jon boat that held up admirably over the years. Now what glue to use? The old standby Henry? What ever it is, it will need to adhere to the frp. Any idea's?

If anyone is interested, the carpet is Foss Ecofi Status indoor/outdoor. I get it at Menard's. Here it costs a measly 40 cents a square yard. Does not stain, UV protected, does not fray/unravel. For carpet it's great stuff. Has lasted for several plus years in the 1436. Still looks good.

It looks like the only truly waterproof adhesive that will work with most carpets and sanded glass/metal is the Henry 263. Now to try to find this elusive glue.
