Just bought my first metal boat! The best I can tell (from a brochure on Fiberglassics) it is a mid 1950's Tennessee Fisherman, made by Linden Metal Craft of Linden TN. Internet searches have not produced a lot of information at all about this boat. But I thought it was very interesting due to the wood gunwales and spray rail. Which of course will have to be replaced. Also looks like a lot of damage to the keel. Considering what are the options to maybe replace at least the front part of the keel? Anyway a lot of work to be done!

Found some additional information from old Tennessee newspaper. Looks like it is the model V-14. Sadly looks like things ended in 1961 when the company went out of

Gotta love those old ads -- guys out on the boat wearing suit & tie and of course the fedoras.
Yeah probably their everyday outfits, maybe a little nicer since they knew they were going to have their photo taken for the newspaper. Image if you showed up at the boat ramp like that now!!! They'd have you hauled off!
