Help with price

Post by killdee » 20 Mar 2019, 18:06

I have a 2004 alumnacraft 14-36 Jon with live well 1974,9.5 evenrude short shaft, new impeller, fuel pump carb build, 50# mk hand control up front with an old trailer in pretty hood shape. Anyone have an idea what a fair asking price would be? I bought a larger Tracker boat this winter and need to sell.
Thanks

I'd be asking $1,500 and planning on taking any offers of $1,000 or more. Piecing it out, the hull is probably worth about $600, with a trailer maybe $700-$800, the TM another $100 or so and then the vintage motor. If it runs and it's cosmetically clean then you're bound to do better than if it's got issues. People are going to shy away from paying much for an older motor especially if it's not 100% tip top.
I have a marriage license and a fishing license, but I only carry one in my wallet.
