Didn't I see a post on here about free older manuals? I have old Merc. on which I would like to change the water pump.

The engine only cost me $40.00.... So a $25.00 manual seems like over-kill. Ha Ha

Rich, look in the Motors forum. At the very top is a "sticky" about manuals. I've not used it but it might have what you are looking for.

Here is a link (if it works):

Thank you. The manual is exactly what I needed for this old smoker. I also found a pretty good Youtube video that covers a similar Mercury motor.

I've got a lot of arthritis in my right wrist now. I really can't cast much anymore, at least not with any accuracy.

My TN. rivers almost all hold Stripers and more. I'm thinking I will buy a drop bracket and attach this little motor for trolling.

Impellor on its way. So far, I'll have $50.00 invested totally. If my impellor swap works out, I will order the drop bracket. That is only $100.00 more.

We shall see.

Rich

That is one heck of a nice striper.

Hopefully the new kicker will work out. Maybe look into some planer boards to get a spread on your lures, especially if trolling shallower waters.
