My recent purchase of a 14 foot tin has no drain hole. Has anyone put one in so that you can leave the boat upright uncovered?

Thanks for the tip on the Moeller drain. Will it work if your transom is just a skin of aluminum on the lower section where the drain goes? i.e.-Can you trim the tube length down to work or is it made to use on transoms that are wood backed? My transom is 15" height but only the upper 9" is wood backed. Thanks.

It has spacers to give it some beef, but yes, they will sandwich around the thin tin skin. Can't to looking for it tonight ...
