First tin boat and first tin boat to be modifying. Measures 15ft in length. Modified V hull..and appears to be an Alumacraft. Boat and trailer only.. no motor.. trolling motor or any other accessories pictured. Picked it up from my father in law and not real sure where he got it from. Boat has been registered in his name for some time now. Registration states that it is an 1981 Alumacraft 15 ft. But when the HIN is ran it comes back a 14ft.

I’ve searched almost all of the World Wide Web and have had no luck with identifying anything close to this design in the year that it’s registered to.. other than the Super Hawk.. and from what I can tell

If anyone could assist me in this it would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to Tin Boats.
I'm not going to be much help in finding the info you are looking for. What I can see in the pictures is the trailer is too short for the boat. You could put a hook into the bottom of the hull if the transom is not supported.

Yea i seen the issue with the trailer being to short. I’ve been looking locally for a little deal to come along and I’ll scoop one up. Maybe work out a trade or something.

I’m not looking for anything over a 25hp.

Looking around online last night and found it’s looks something close to a 99 alumacraft waterfowler 15.

Instead of buying a new trailer I would just modify the one you have. I had the same issue on my trailer, so I installed new bunks and turned the boards on their sides. It's rock solid and my 14x36 weighs a ton because I've added a lot of wood decking to it. A 2x4 turned on its side is very strong and if you used a 2x6 on its side you could have it hanging off 3 feet and I bet you couldn't make it flex if you tried.

The only thing to note, I'm not exactly sure what the laws are around having the brakes lights so many feet behind the end of the boat... meaning the boat is going to extend 2-3 ft passed your trailer brake lights. I don't find that its an issue on mine and I haven't worried about it enough to check my local South Carolina trailer laws.

I'd contact Alumacraft with the HIN and see if they can identify. The closest online catalog I can find for Alumacraft is 1979 and to me it might look like a version of the Bass Deluxe? https://online.anyflip.com/jtji/wthl/mobile/index.html#p=1

Good little rig for bassin'.

Man that is an awesome idea. I’ll check local laws for sure. It’s hanging off about 18” if I remember correctly. Didn’t have any issues from law enforcement pulling it about 50 miles to my house, could have been luck though.

Hull has alittle damage on the bow that needs to be addressed but the hull doesn’t leak. Had it almost full of water from some bad storms the other day and she held tight

Yea jethro... I believe that’s my next step. Similar hull other than my modified V hull. It came with aluminum flooring that had only a few rivets holding it down that I removed. The casting deck was a POS so it actually went first. Has a homemade live well where the dry storage once was

Ok. To me it looked like it. And that’s the main reason I’m here is to get some input and information for you guys that are more knowledgeable than myself

I layed that floor piece back in it. Took a few different angle photos. Also it had a separate storage compartment that was riveted down onto the stbd side. I’ll be getting it from father in law this weekend.

Im sure I’m way to late to jump in this game but I will try anyway. I just restored a 88 alumacraft super hawk. When I get some free time I will make a post of the complete restoration. The black box in the picture is where the console was at one time. There is a aluminum subfloor riveted to the hull supports. This boat is definitely a modified v. Hope this helps you. If not maybe it will help someone else. I to had a hard time researching this boat.
