Brand spankin' new here. Found this site over the weekend and haven't been able to look away since.
I had a boat given to me from MN. I live in IN. It is a 12' Lund, other than that I know nothing about it. It has a 4-digit serial number and there is a MN registration number on it but it reportedly hasn't been registered for like 10-15 years. No title. I know it's not stolen.
I want to gussy it up, put a small outboard on it. I already have a 35# thrust TM to put on it. I'm not willing to put one dime into this thing until it's properly titled. If I can't make that happen I will probably scrap it or sell it cheap.
Can anyone smarter than me help me identify the year or any other nuances about this boat that I should know? Secondly, has anyone experienced the same titling nightmare I am going through that might be able to guide me through the process?
