Tempco 14ft jon boat

Looking on info about the tempco boat company. Im gonna be picking up a 1969 14ft jon boat made by tempco. Can not find any information on this company. I just really want to know if they're quality boats.

Heres some pictures of the boat. Seems to be in okay condition. Does a two cracks in two ribs of the boat in the corners. What would be the best way of fixing these cracks. I know the boat is in dire need of a paint job. A lady had it before. Think i still made out pretty good for $50.

Took a few measurements and the boat seems to be around a 1440 jon boat in size.

Some pictures of the cracked ribs would help.
I wouldn't paint over those sweet flames!

Thanks only got such a sweet deal because i promised her to take all the wood from her old deck. Hopefully I'll be able to make it water ready pretty soon. Pretty hesitant with this old of a boat.

Found some bad cracks and repair at the front of the boat. Now reconsidering what i should do with it.

More mig welding.
If you repaint it you're going to have to add 10 pounds of chrome to make up the lost speed.
Where in Illinois are you?

In the north central part i assume your from illinois as well then.

Thats the ugliest boat I ever saw.

The interior color takes me back to the 80s and Miami vice.

Well found alot more cracking under the paint. Im gonna be sending it to the scrap yard. Should get a little more than i paid for it. So it wont really set me back. But my sister's neighbor has a 12ft v hull in better shape that i will probably be picking up.

Still have this boat debating on still trying to fix it up or send it to scrap. Any opinions?
