AlumaCraft 'Gadabout' boat - looking for info

Looking for info on an AlumCraft Gadabout boat. I cannot find any info or pics of one of these boats.
Any info is appreciated.

THanks much for the pic. I have a line on one with a 25hp Evinrude for $500. Has always been barn kept. Is currently covered in household stuff.
Hoping in the next couple of weeks to actually see this thing, get HIN# and evaluate what condition this thing is in.

sort of a Boston whaler but in Aluminum, i like that.

In all my years I've never seen a tinny with a tri hull entry.

No thanks necessary. Under the guise of TINBOATS, this site is really a gathering place of enablers in recovery. I just happened to slip when I saw your post, and gently nudged to have you regain your momentum.

Got this thing uncovered and out of the shed at our friend's house. Seems to be in really good shape. Needs tires, and some clean up. I will pull the motor and put in a barrel and work on tuning it up.

Boat, trailer, 25hp Evinrude and Minn Kota trolling motor....$500. Not a bad deal I'm thinking.
The first pic shows a number I got off the back right corner of the boat. Does not seem to be a HIN#. I am reading that the HIN is in the middle of the transom. Do I have to remove the motor to see this #?
Will get her home in a couple of weeks.

I noticed in one of the pics what might be a nameplate of some sort.
Would it make sense that this would be a HIN# nameplate here?

No, really, a GREAT deal.

My Alumacraft boats have had their HID on the center support of the inside back, below the transom. Some have had a plate on the transom with model information and capacity, etc.

So I have searched everywhere for this same boat on youtube, google, ebay and I cant find any information about this same boat. I am in the process of restoring an early 70s 14' Alumacraft Gadabout. This is my first boat restoration attempt. I dont know much about it and this message board is literally the only Google results where this boat is discussd. Can anybody give me any information about this boat? It came with a 1980 40HP mercury and the original paint was yellow. Any info, tips, suggestions that would help my restoration would be appreciated.
