I want to do something new with the front deck but the G3 design with the fuel filler door and gas tank makes it a bit difficult. Another problem is the 9.9 outboard limit, puts all the weight forward.
I think I’m due for a new trolling motor. The current one is 11 years old.
I spoke with a dealer who said it would be all right for me to cut it from the baseball-sized to a rectangle and to drill a few holes to stagger the rod handles under the bow.
