ok guys i tryed to put my trolling motor on the front of my flatbottom
jon it is a transon mout lol,the gears was mixed up why.switched it back to the back and it was fine #-o

Here is something to think about and you can make it out of wood or steel. I've added a pic of the T/M so you can see how the head has been reversed in order to fit the front of the boat. There is a small screw that you need to remove, rotate the hear and instal the screw back like Bubba said. Hope this helps.

You have to loosen the 'head" of the trolling motor and turn it around. I've never done it, but from what i've heard there is usually a screw that holds the head onto the shaft, loosen/remove that screw, twist the head around 180 degrees, then tighten the screw back down.
