I purchased a 14x48 jon boat a few weeks ago and was going to pick it up using my budies truck but his clutch just recently crapped out on him. What do you think about trying to put a 14X48 on top of my jeep cherokee sport?

Personally I wouldn't attempt it, but that's just me. How far are you going to travel with it?
First of all, you have to get it up there.....
Then, that jeep is not known for being the most bottom heavy vehicle.
Can you borrow a boat trailer or utility trailer from somebody to put it on, and tow behind your jeep? Or, you can spend all night helping your buddy replace his clutch. He may let you use the truck more often at that point. :lol: :lol:

Sounds a little scary to me. I think I'd be looking for some sort of trailer to carry it.
