Hello Everybody,
I have a valco 12ft aluminum v hull that I am trying to get ready for the summer and started looking around for pictures of other mod's and found this site. It looks really nice and informative alot of people share their ideas and experiences here. I'll try and post some pictures of my boat and plans but it's my first post so please excuse me if it doesn't go down right the first time thanks! Well I tried and my pictures are too big so I'll have to mess with them another day and decrease the size of em to the 8oo megapix wide by 800 megapix long. anyway thanks for reading.

welcome aboard!

If you want to make it easy to post the pics, you can use photobucket.com and where it says to chose files there is a drop down box that automatically resizes your pictures for you. Choose the 15" screen, it sets it to the 800 wide for ya

Thanks! Man I can seriously tell you I have tried to drag photos here but i'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I tried photobucket and I'm not used to it its too new to me I'll have to get someone at home to help me out! thanks. But here's an update I removed all the wood from the boat its just a skeleton. I did some body work on it straighting out those holes that have been overtightend over the years. I took alot of Putty that the previous owner had caulked it with and smashed the rivets a little and the aluminum plates by the rivets Its not all welded. The one thing I really liked that I did was remove all the stickers the old timer had on there kind of wanted to leave em but they had to go. So I sanded and buffed out the outside of the transom and it came out very clean shiny and nice. I could of buffed more to see my reflection but got tired. Next I want to turn boat upside down and do body work on dents and sand and buff all the outside. Once I'm done I'll probably check for leaks and go from there. then the real work begins choosing wiring and electrical panels livewell, accessories weight distribution and all that good stuff.

Hello,

Here's some photo's of my boat before recent mod's. This was my starting point the only thing i'd done to it so far at that point a year ago was moving the fishfinder and removing the old seats and adding the newer style seat system. I'll post what it looks like now when I take more pics here real soon. Thanks for looking!

Progress so far. Must get transom to floor joint welded tomorrow. It was never really holding anything, since I bought the boat and it was barely hanging on and finally it broke off. I guess it will cost me an arm too get that fixed!
