I've seen threads where people have used one or the other. I'm looking for good and bad in them. I'm leaning toward the spray just because it seems less messy and easier to work with but I'm looking for other opinions before I start. I will be applying the carpet on aluminum not wood and will be putting it on the side walls and vertical walls of the benches as well as the flat decks.

I used the Henry 663 on my aluminum flooring, plus carpeted the insides of the hull and the aluminum storage box mounted in the boat. The Henry stuff worked well for me (I spread it with a notched trowel). Have never used the spray stuff, but I think a couple of guys on here have.
