Have a 10' john and a crawdad. Trying to figure out something different with the anchor ropes. Can't mount much on top edge of boats, haul them upside down on pop up camper sometmes. Have cleats on them now, about all the room. Also thinking of using a cooler with a live well pump instead of basket over the side, tired of pulling it in and out of the water, but as you know not a lot of room in either boat, but maybe fit a cooler.

Are you saying that you can't mount cleats to make your anchor line fast too due to carrying your rig upside down? If so, mount them on the inside of the gunwale. They are easy to get too, yet won't damage your roof.

See if you can incorporate a cooler and seat base together to make your livewell. What do you fish for? Keep them to eat, or for tourney's?

I have cleats mounted, just never used the anchor reins, needed someone's opinion on using them, the cooler seat idea wouldn't really work, but think if I take less tackle can fit a pretty good cooler in either boat. Didn't know if anyone has tried the live well hookups for coolers from Bass Pro or Cabelas? Mostly crappie and bluegill. Some Bass fishing. Small strip pits, have the 10' flat bottom for the bass on the small rivers. Thanks for any help. Just redone some things on the 10' boat, hadn't been used in 20 yrs. Trying to buy a Transom mount Bulldog foot cotrol trolling motor. Haven't talked to anyone yet that has one.
