I'm in the process of remodeling the layout on a project boat. The boat is a tracker panfisher, and the previous owner had removed everything including cutting the livewell form the floor. From the opening on the floor there is some tubing going to a bilge pump in the back of the boat. There is also a manufactures hole on the side of the boat under the water line. I assume that is an intake for fresh water.? I shined a flashlight into that hole and there looks like some kind of brass plug in there. Is this part of the machanical workings of the livewell or just a plug?
