Does anyone here have any foot pedal operated trolling motors that are mounted on the right side of their boat? (starboard)

most people i see is on their port side but i think im going to need to mount it on starboard side. Does anyone have a reason to why i shouldnt?
 
Matters not. Well, other than the fact that it looks kinda goofy, seeing as everybody has them on the port side. I used to have one on the starboard side.
 
I've always wondered why my boats looked so goofy. The trolling motors were all in the wrong place!! Go figure. Seriously, all the boats I've ever owned have had the TM no the right side, even the ones that came with the TM already installed. The ones I've installed myself went there too. It just seems to feel better, on the right side.
 
If you have a tiller outboard you sit on the starboard side(normally)so it makes it easier to see over it.Thats was my thinking anyways.
