i have 3 big cracks that are each crack looks like an x there about 1 inche long do you think i could drill them out with a hole saw and put a piece of metal on it and rivit it on and put sealent on it or do you think i should scrap it but how much would i get if i did scrap it its a 12ft boat :(

Scrap is at an all time low right now. I certainly would not scrap it now. I would estimate that you would get 25 - 30 for that hull scrapping it.

For your holes, are they in the middle of the sheet of aluminum, that would be fine. If they are in the middle of a rivet line, it will be a little tougher, but still doable nonetheless. I do recommend using the piece of aluminum riveted on, and sealed, as a patch. I have been real successful with that method.

its actually on the channels so i will have to beend the alluminum and then rivit it on
